SD1029 Christmas Dress

I realized far too late that I didn't have an appropriate dress to wear to a fancy holiday party, and went shopping on for something I could get in one day, and that would be decent enough for the party. I purchased this dress in two sizes, plus two other dresses in two sizes each, just to give myself options. This was the one I was most hopeful for, though, because I loved the way it looked in photos. Well, this definitely delivered. It fit perfectly, which my pushing-40-two-kids-later-recovering-fat-kid body doesn't usually allow. Because I got the black, it hid all the flaws, and I looked fantastic. I have sensitive skin, and am very picky about when something is even a little itchy. This didn't bother me in the slightest, even with the neckline having the fringed and jagged looking lace that goes up the neck. I paired it with sparkly peep-toe heels, and looked awesome. I got so many compliments, both at the party, and afterward. I felt like a million bucks.I haven't gone through cleaning yet, but I plan on being gentle with this, because there's so much lace, and I really like the dress, and would like to make use of it again. And at under $40, this dress is absolutely a steal.

Let me start by saying why I bought this...It was coming up on our company Christmas party...I had nothing to wear, it is Southern California, the weather is all over the place but generally warm temperatures...I bought this in hopes that my drinking would keep me warm enough but was terrified I would destroy it at the bars after the party. The attached picture is the only halfway sober picture I got in this dress. It was comfortable and very flattering.I am 5'7" and 220 lbs of pure solid woman. I have a big badonk and a big tummy, but a small chest. As you can imagine, finding a flattering dress is like finding a good man in SoCal. I was able to move well enough to not rip anything as I slowly kept my way into a blackout, and I looked great doing it.I typically wear a 14/16 and a Large on top, but bought the largest size, just in case.

I purchased this for family photos. I was a little unsure about what size to go with and finally decided on the medium. It fit my 5'3 size 8 wearing shape perfectly (40 chest, 30 waist, 42 hips). The length was great for my height. There is not much stretch to the dress. So sure to look at the size guide to make your choice. I really do love this dress. In already thinking of other excuses to wear it again. It seems well made and I received many compliments.

The quality of this dress far surpasses the price. The lace does not look cheap at all, and color is a beautiful navy. The sizing runs a tad bit small, but ordered a size up for that reason and the large fit perfect. I’m 5.5 weeks post partum, 34 DD, and size 8 jeans. I am 5’7’’, and the liner of the dress was VERY short. So be mindful when bending over or sitting down. Overall- GREAT buy

Super cute dress for the price, if you are debating go for it. The dress was not skin tight I had plenty of wiggle room. I am 5’9 and the under slip of the dress was a little short but the over all length was okay since the black lace hangs lower. I typically wear a 14 I ordered a XL and it fit!

I had ordered a dress from Nordstrom Rack that was suddenly back ordered so I took a huge chance and ordered this one last min. It came fast and fit great! I got so many compliments on it! The lace is super comfy and the fray on the sleeves and the bottom really makes the dress unique! The dress is well made with quality material. True to size. I got a medium and I’m 5’7 135 lbs.
